We are certainly not out of the woods yet, but today's strong rebound in gold and silver is an encouraging market reaction following the U.S. midterm elections. All eyes now turn to the FOMC, the outlook for U.S. interest rates, and the possibility of a resolution to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. These developments will remain important drivers of precious metals prices in the weeks ahead. We also received encouraging news from the World Gold Council, highlighting substantial central bank gold purchases during the third quarter, along with respectable ETF investment demand. Looking ahead, India's wedding season could provide additional support for physical gold demand. While we remain vulnerable to headline-driven volatility, the longer-term bullish fundamentals have not changed. As I have been emphasizing, we continue to operate in an era of de-dollarization and central bank reserve diversification, with gold maintaining its important role in the global monetary system. The fact that countries such as Russia and Turkey have sold gold at various times does not diminish its monetary significance. If anything, it reinforces gold's unique position as a highly liquid reserve asset that can be mobilized when needed. Gold remains the ultimate monetary asset. However, short-term volatility, interest rate expectations, and market positioning still matter. One strong trading session does not necessarily establish a sustained trend. As I have said repeatedly, patience remains essential. The fundamentals may be supportive, but there is no need to chase the market following a sharp rally.
